About me

Hi, I’m Cylee — and I’ve been where you are.

I know what it feels like to be capable, motivated, and completely stuck all at the same time. That tension is exactly what led me to this work — and it's why I'm so passionate about helping other women find their way through it.

Cylee, certified health and wellness coach in Cache Valley, Utah

My story

From overwhelmed to on purpose.

There came a point when I realized that doing more wasn’t the answer. Here’s how I found my way back — and why it became my life’s work.

The breaking point

I was busy, I was trying hard, and I still felt dim — doing everything right and still feeling far from myself, unsure of what I actually wanted. I was tired. I was stressed. And somewhere along the way, I stopped feeling like myself anymore. (Not to mention perimenopause hitting like a freight train!) The woman who used to be excited and outgoing just wanted to close off and crawl into bed. I kept waiting for the season to pass on its own — for things to magically click back into place. But they didn’t.

“What I really needed wasn’t another to-do list or a stricter routine. I needed to reconnect with who I actually was underneath all of it.”

The shift

Sound familiar? That season was the beginning of a real change. It pushed me to get serious about understanding why we get stuck, how real change actually happens, and what it looks like to build a life with intention instead of just momentum. I pursued my certifications through Health Coach Institute — earning both my Life & Nutrition and Advanced Health Coach credentials — and I’m currently working toward board certification through NBHWC.

Why it matters for you

More than credentials, what I bring to this work is lived experience: the kind that makes me genuinely curious about your story, not just your goals. I work with women who are motivated but stuck — busy moms, women navigating midlife, women who feel like they’ve lost the thread of who they are. I see you. And I believe you already have more than enough to move forward. You just need a clearer path.

I’m based in Cache Valley, Utah, and I work with women throughout the valley — Logan, North Logan, Smithfield, Providence, Hyrum, Nibley, and the surrounding towns. Because every session is virtual, you don’t have to live nearby to work with me; I coach women across Utah and beyond, right from wherever they are.

The women behind the kind words.

It was exactly what I needed. She helped me understand what was really holding me back.

Rae came to coaching after a major life transition and move — knowing all the “right” things to do, but unable to get back on track. She became Cylee’s first client.

“I was stuck. I’ve worked with personal trainers before. I know what workouts to do, what foods I should be eating, the importance of sleep, hydration — all the things. But after a major life transition and move, I just couldn’t seem to get myself back on track.

That’s when Cylee became a coach, and I asked if I could be her first client. It was exactly what I needed. Through weekly sessions, motivational messages, and consistent check-ins, she helped me work through the mental and emotional barriers that were keeping me from making progress. Instead of focusing only on workouts and nutrition, she helped me understand what was really holding me back and gave me the support and accountability I needed to move forward.

What made it even more valuable was knowing I was working with someone who truly understood. She’s faced many of the same challenges with hormones, food, body changes, and life transitions, so her guidance came from both knowledge and personal experience.

If you’re feeling stuck and struggling to reconnect with your goals, she’s the kind of coach who will meet you where you are, help you overcome what’s holding you back, and cheer you on every step of the way.”

By week four it felt like I had discovered something life changing — a new-found balance through intentionality.

Lori came to coaching an empty-nester, in a rut with food and her body, using eating as an emotional lift and caught in an all-or-nothing loop. Then something shifted.

“Week one: I was definitely in a rut with eating healthy, feeling good inside my body, and my relationship with food. It was a transition time between having all my kids leave the house, being an empty nester, and figuring out my new role in all of it. My relationship with food seemed to suffer because I was suddenly using food as fun, an emotional escape, a lift. I knew I needed to make a shift, but until I started the coaching process, I basically reverted to my old ways of thinking and problem solving which seemed to land in the — suffer more, eat less, and plow through the process no matter how hard it was — lane.

At first, I wasn’t sure anything would really change my way of thinking, but by week three something shifted. I had always loved the idea of keeping my promises to myself, but this seemed to fall in the ‘all or nothing’ category. I thought if I was keeping my promises, that meant I had to be perfect — eating healthy, exercising regularly, and being in control. And as good as that feels when you’re on your A game, it feels so frustrating and hopeless when you’re not. Perfectionism is not realistic or maintainable. The balance I came to find while coaching with Cylee was being INTENTIONALLY imperfect. I’d never really thought of it this way. Being intentional when you’re gonna have that chocolate cake, that ice cream cone, that extra bite, means you’re choosing it. The guilt, the shame, the berating isn’t there to follow. It also feels like it doesn’t turn into an all or nothing game. Suddenly, that bite doesn’t change your trajectory. It’s one bite. And you can still go to bed at night feeling like you were in control. After all YOU chose that bite. And it’s okay. This shift helped me to not plunge into ‘well, I’ve had a bite I might as well have twenty!’

Honestly, I wasn’t sure coaching would change my perspective. I am a coach myself and a person who takes charge of what I want. I research it out. I write it down. I make a goal. And I am good with follow through. But, sometimes I can get in my own way. I needed another perspective. The strange part is that that perspective was already within me, I just needed to find it again. Coaching helped ME figure it out. Coaching helped ME see things I couldn’t without talking about it, reflecting with Cylee, and making tiny shifts. By week four it felt like I had discovered something life changing. And although the journey isn’t over, I love the perspective change I received from this experience and the new found balance through intentionality.

One thing I loved about Cylee is that she let the experience unfold. As a coach — or human — the temptation is to solve, rescue, and tell people what to do. Sometimes being on the outside it looks so easy. ‘Do this, do that,’ and everything will work out. But letting people find it themselves is POWERFUL! I’ve seen many coaches solve for their clients, and to me that’s not the purpose of coaching. Coaching is a space to quietly and resolutely hold space for your client so they can figure it out. This kind of support is hard to come by. It takes an enormous amount of effort to just listen, intentionally listen! It takes dedication to create a process that allows for self discovery. It takes self awareness to do the work and then to be there for someone else. Cylee is someone I trust and someone who wants the best for others. Her coaching style reflects that in all areas.”
